One of the finest Yoga Institutes in Mumbai. Best place to learn and practice yoga. The teachers are very nice. A must visit place for its beautiful ambience.

I've been doing my one month TTC from this institute and i must say it's the best decision I've made! The surroundings with lush green bushes and trees, centres to meditate and the classrooms make it apart from others.

They are teaching some kind of yoga but how you can preach without being an example ! Most of the teachers are not in shape , don’t look healthy they should not look like models but they should be looking like they are following the yoga philosophy. Not sure where are these teachers from but a lot of them were just a name but nothing good to learn. I went to Nepal and wow big difference. The teachers were the opposite of the teachers in the Yoga Institute Mumbai. The food was really good.I can go without air condition even thought a lot of my clothes got ruin because of the humidity.. and couldn’t really sleep well at night because it was extremely hot.. but only our rooms were like that because in the other offices they did have air condition. I stayed there for 3 months (900 hours) because already paid and they were not going to give me my money back. Poor communication. Just look for another school in Rishikesh (India) very different. I have to be truth to myself and even thought I don’t like to leave bad reviews I have to warn foreigners not to go there because you will ended leaving or feel stuck in there. They should really reorganize their program and don’t let people take 3 months of their life for such a bad program. The asked for a feedback but when you tell them they don’t take it right way. Maybe for locals is ok but not for foreigners.

This is the oldest (103 years) and one of the best yoga institute in the India. They offer various yoga programs and teacher training programs for the people who are keen to pursue yoga practice. The place has an amazing vibe and energy which can be experienced once you step into the institute. If anyone is planning to start practicing yoga or become a yoga teacher. This is the best institute to start your Yoga journey. Special mention for (ever smiling) Poonam Ji, who will be the first person you will meet, when you are at the Yoga Institute reception.

Even if the institute is oldest one, I personally cannot find the authenticity of what they are teaching. Every teacher has different answer and wants to put up themselves. They really dont practice what they preach. They say Food is sattvik but it is not,we can call it a balanced diet. Doing 3 months TTC program and highly disappointed, they charge so much and i am wondering for what. What they teach in 3 months can be taught in a month. Earlier I thought this is good for foreigners as retreat but even they are dissatisfied. Spoke with the coordinator and the head but I dont think anything is going to change. Google should stop putting it in the list of best yoga institutes of India. This is not what Yoga is. I have been across different institutes that teach yoga and they are far more better than this one. I am sorry but dont want others to fall in this trap.

Great place to visit for everyone despite you being a student or just interested in connecting to friendly environment. Personally I have done 3 months Teacher Training Course here in 2016/2017 and I visit my Friends any time I am in Mumbai. Today was such day!

I have was pursuing 2nd time 21 days better living course. Before 2 week of start date of course I got suffer from boil my knee(whole leg was swollen)because of that I could not walk and I ask for particular month batch but they refused and said you can only join next batch or you will get terminated. So after recovery I join next batch and postpone my plan to travel to native place. After start of the course I see all new teachers. not all only one teacher to all 21 days course. few years teachers used to be different on all days. All previous teachers was good experience. Then I left course informing that I have to go my native place. I will join in next month but start ignoring my calls. Now I get to know this institute have become money minded and also I lost my new yoga mat on 4th day. Better to think before anything. All the glitters are not gold.

As you enter the institute, you will feel calm and positive. The institute is full of greenery and consist of positive vibes.Inside the campus you will feel stress free and happy. The food served is sattvic which is good for mind and body. The teachers trains the students with passion. This institute teaches not only asanas, but the life concepts, which helps in holistic development the students. When the students come out of the institute, they come out as a changed human being, with a positive approach to life.
